Richard Berry established Design Theory in 2004. To his leadership role he brings over two decades of experience. During the course of his career Richard has served as Art Director for a regional business publication, as an in-house designer with CARE (the world’s largest relief and development organization), as the Design Director for a fast-paced design studio and as Senior Art Director for AFA, the franchise association for the Arby’s Restaurant System.
Design Theory has produced work for such clients as The Arthritis Foundation, ASA Airlines, The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Captain D’s, Carnival Cruise Lines, Chick-fil-A, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Coca-Cola Fountain Division, Delta Air Lines, The Jekyll Island Club Hotel, The Home Depot, Pathway Communities, The United Way and Winter Construction.
Richard’s work has been recognized by such publications and organizations as Graphic Design USA, Print Magazine, Step-By-Step Magazine, The Public Relations Society of America, The Creativity Annual and The ARC Awards (The International competition honoring outstanding achievement in annual reports).
